I don't read many books, mostly comics or manga. I did read the entire Harry Potter series a couple of years ago, but I've largely forrgotten the story. However i was at a bookstore today and there was litterally NOTHING interesting to pick up from comics, the one i primarily read (it's an italian comic called Dylan Dog, i really like it) had no interesting releases because this bookstore only keeps old or boring ones. The manga section, similarly, had nothing that caught my intrest. Im not really the one for starting new series' if i haven't even finished the current one. So far I have started Death Note, Uzumaki and Dorohedoro and have yet to finish each one, and i probably won't because the last time i read one was like 9 months ago. And the Marvel and DC section, forget about it, i don't have enough money to afford those!
However i did peek around the "real book" area, as some assholes would say, but mark my word comic books are real fucking art! Anyways there were some books that caught my intrest, i would like to read Frankenstein or Dracula one day but i mostly gave my attention to The Witcher who i know from the video games of course and a few of the comics he had, tho i never read them. And the other book i looked at was the Divine Comedy by Dante which we read a bit in school. Now I'm not a complete fucking idiot, i know a thing or two about this book... Mostly from the God of War clone game that came out in 2009, but whatever. Now i don't like really long books, i used to tolerate them in the past but nowdays if I start one there's a little to zero chance I'll finish it. This one is around 200 pages long which doesn't seem too bad, and it's written in like verses instead of regular text. Anyways I'll start reading it soon, don't expect a review cause i don't really review books but i will report a bit on what i thought.
